The tile-matching mechanic really shines once you get a few rounds in, and recruiting animal minions feels genuinely satisfying. I love how quickly the game ramps up as factions start competing for the sacred gift.

Setup took a few minutes to understand the faction recruitment, but once we got the hang of moving and matching those animal minion tiles, the game really clicked. The Great Alder Tree goal adds a fun sense of purpose to each round.

The tile-matching mechanic where you recruit minions of the same faction kept every turn feeling useful, even when my draws went sideways. Taught it to three friends in about ten minutes and we immediately played twice more. The Great Alder Tree goal gives the whole thing a nice finish line instead
